Studio Propast (The Pit)

In 2004 there was a reconstruction of relaxing parts of the studio Propast. Two new rooms were added so it can comfortably accomodate 10 people in five doublebed rooms with accessories (bathroom, WC). In Studio A you can mix 5+1 channels for the audio track needs for DVD or a movie. Hearing is on the five speakers GENELEC with subwoofer. In both studios you bands can record analogically (2 inch 24 tracks) or digitally via the NUENDO program. Guidance prices are set by the price list. We also newly offer Studio B leasing for starting bands and sound engineers need. Band can record for the arranged price and use all the studio services with the complete technical equipment. You have to prearrange consultations with our sound engineers. The price is very pleasant - 100Kč per an hour. You need to pass the course to start recording.

Sound engineer courses

The courses for starting sound engineers are guided by Petr Ackerman. It starts in 10am in studio B and last practically all the day with the lunch break. The price is 1.000 Kč per person. You will be familiarized with all the recording technology for both analog and digital recording as well as with all the fineses of sound engineering. The auditors are supposed to have at least basic knowledge. For those who are interested in the study tour the object supervisor is at disposal to show you around the object.
